โ How it works
Load a folder of your sounds (or drop files anywhere). Press PLAY: a few random files start looping together, each from a random point. NEXT MIX rolls a new combination. Everything stays on your computer; nothing is uploaded.
STANDARD holds the combination until you change it. AMBIENT keeps drifting: every ~N seconds a layer slowly fades out, another fades in, layers come and go, and each one gently breathes in volume, stereo position and brightness.
๐ Hold a layer you love: drift, hop and NEXT MIX leave it alone. ๐ swaps one layer, โ cuts a new loop slice from it, โ reverses it, โ fades it out.
The waveform strip on each layer shows the whole file: yellow is the looping slice, red is the playhead. Click or drag on it to move the slice.
Loops: SLICES loops short pieces instead of whole files, like instant samples. Hop makes every slice jump to a new random spot of its file every 1, 2 or 4 loops.
Sync locks layers to one tempo. Give files a BPM by putting it in the name (beat_120bpm.wav) or typing it in the layer's BPM box; files without a BPM keep floating freely.
โฐ Settings โ Folder Roles: when your folder has subfolders (e.g. pads, drums, voices), set how many layers each may bring in, like "always 1 pad, max 1 drum", or โ a folder out of the mix.
Snapshots save the current layers and settings so a good accident can be recalled. Export them to move between browsers.
